Titanium Grades 1-4 are unalloyed and generally known as CP (Commercially Pure). The tensile and yield strength of titanium generally increases with the grade number. Titanium is 30% stronger than Steel but nearly 50% lighter and although Aluminium is lighter, Titanium is stronger and has excellent strength retention. Due to Titanium's weight, strength and high corrosion resistance it is very popular in various manufacturing industries from aerospace, medical, shipping, military etc.

Titanium alloy / Titanium CP Grade 7 is mechanically and physically equivalent to CP grade 2, but with the addition of palladium. The addition of palladium gives grade 7 enhanced crevice corrosion resistance at low temperatures and high PH and is the most corrosion resistant of all titanium alloys.

Alpha-Beta excellent Titanium alloy / Titanium Alloy Grade 9 / Titanium Ti3Al2.5V (grade 9) or more simply known as Ti-3-2.5 is commonly grouped with the commercially pure grades due to it's ability to be cold rolled. The strength of Ti3al2.5V (Ti-3-2.5) falls between Grade 4 and Grade 5 . However Ti3Al2.5V (grade 9) can be used at higher temperatures than Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4. Applications for Ti3Al2.5V are Aerospace, Chemical Processing, Medical, Marine, Automotive industries etc.

Alpha-Beta excellent Titanium alloy / Titanium Alloy 6-2-4-2 (6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo) is an alpha-beta titanium alloy capable of being heat treated to higher strengths in greater section sizes that 6Al-4V. Widely used in forged components, 6-2-4-2 beta forged material has enhanced strength, ductility and a combination of good low-cycle fatigue and fatigue-crack growth resitance. This alloy is used in the intermediate compressor stages of turbine engines for disks and blades, seals and for airframe parts.
